T-Shirt - Icthus (Big)

The first appearance of this symbol in Christian art can be traced back to the 2nd century AD. It is believed to have been used as a secret symbol to recognize churches and believers since they were persecuted at that time.

Fish are also mentioned several times in the bible, Jesus’ multiplication of the loaves and the fishes, Jonah being swallowed by a big fish, the disciples trying to fish all night but weren’t able to catch one but then Jesus asked them to cast the net once more and they drew 153 fish, some of His disciples were fisherman by profession and was asked to leave their boats to become fishers of men and so on.

As Christians, we are called to be fishers of men but this time, not in secret, hence, we will intentionally wear Ichtus.
